Thank you - over 4,000 lbs collected

The "Stamp Out Hunger" drive was a success on Saturday. The postal carriers drove their trucks to the Franklin Food Pantry to drop off the bags they had collected on their rounds delivering the mail to Franklin residents.

The volunteers were lined up and ready in team to off load the trucks, weigh the bags and boxes, bring them to the cellar where they were date checked, sorted by product type and shelved.

For those who contributed by leaving food and non-food items, our thanks go out to you as well! The 3,000  4,000 pounds collected will help us continue to serve our neighbors.
