Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger and we are excited to join the movement! Our Empty Bowls initiative is an effort to raise awareness about hunger, and raise funds to help us feed those in need in our own community.

Empty Bowls is a great opportunity for corporate and community groups to help the Franklin Food Pantry. The program has two parts: The Project* and The Dinner. The Project is a hands on way for groups of all ages to have fun for a great cause!

In a two-hour session that can be held at the Pantry (small groups) or at a location of your choice, participants will paint bowls that will be used at our annual Empty Bowls Dinner. The Dinner will raise money for the Pantry AND awareness about hunger in our community. For more information, please see our Empty Bowls – FAQ.

If you would like to organize an Empty Bowls Project for your group, please download and complete the Empty Bowls Project Request Form, and email it to laura@franklinfoodpantry.org

A small fee of $10 is charged to each participant to cover the costs of materials that are supplied by the Pantry.*
